A little goes a long way with this moist and richly flavorful cake with Latin American roots. The cake was dense but not heavy and the light whipped cream topping balanced the dessert out perfectly. And the whole strawberry garnish was a pleasant surprise, especially since strawberries are starting to pop up at markets all over the city now.
