I know … it’s just froyo. But unlike our more tropical sisters cites on the West Coast, the tart-fresh-frozen invasion is just now gaining a cult following here in Hotlanta. I’d experienced the madness in LA, so you can imagine my delight when the dirty South got a handful of these futuristic smack-shacks. Yogurberry, the first Buckhead froyo establishment stands out for their weirdly awesome Taro (aka Japanese root) flavor option. Don’t be scared by “root,” this actually tastes like a frosty-light version of Yoplait vanilla. We avoid the too-sweet cereals and opt to top ours with fresh fruit. Atlantans, let the addiction begin.
