Walk into the little South End chocolate shop and you would never know it until you looked at the framed newspaper clippings that Lee Napoli, the owner, was helping you choose your sweets. Don't make Lee sad when you tell her you don't like chocolate. It is her life's passion! Even if chocolate isn't your favorite, the dessert-lover in you will fall head over heels for the chocolate beignets that Lee makes right in front of you. As she's sprinkling on the powdered sugar, Lee asks that you wait for them to cool a little because the delicious chocolate inside will explode and ruin that nice white shirt of yours. Luckily for me, it was only a white T-shirt. The warm, melty chocolate within was worth it, though. They're only available on weekends. I suggest that you beg her to make it an everyday option.
