The Lemon Bars at Moeller’s are hands-down my favorite in town! And with something as elemental as a lemon bar, my thinking says if you find a shop that can make a good lemon bar, you probably won’t go wrong with other things. Moeller’s version of a lemon bar is a textural and taste journey for your mouth. They use an amazingly soft, yet crumbly shortbread type base for first a layer of nice pucker-your-lips-tart lemon curd (not cream, not mousse, but curd!), and finally a layer of lightly sweet and cloud-fluffy whipped cream. What is not to like?
