I love custards, so naturally, I love panna cotta. At Mamma Maria, they flavor theirs with expresso and serve it with warm biscotti - a fun, new way to have your after-dinner expresso. You don't really see a lot of Boston restaurants putting a different spin on this traditional Italian dessert, so I had to try it. Served with a burnt caramel sauce, Mamma Maria's expresso panna cotta is too good for words.
