Days 18-34 – Activate
The next stage is when you will shift your calories. This simply means you will have to adjust your calorie intake. So from a low carbohydrate intake, you will have to increase it for this phase. This will allow the metabolism to continue its fast pace and not slow down. For this stage, you will have to include two servings of whole grains to increase your calories into 1500.
Days 35-51 – Achieve
For this stage, you will have to achieve and establish your good eating habits. You will have to cut down on lean meats and concentrate in consuming grains and fruits with optional servings of 100-calori snack and alcohol. In other words, you say good bye to the low carb diet and hello to a balanced low calorie diet.
Days 52 and on – Arrive
This is the maintenance phase in which you will have to continue repeating the stages one to three until you arrive on the weekends where you can eat anything. Just make sure you do not binge during this stage.
